Syncing Your Shipping
Wine Sync ships via reliable UPS Ground Service. How fast do you need your order, UPS 2-Day and Overnight service is also available. Please remember by law, you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase and receive wine, and an adult's signature (also 21 years or older) is required for all deliveries of wine.
Due to UPS fuel surcharge increases we charge a small order handling charge for all orders of $100.00 or less.
Packaging
We ship bottles in 1, 3, 6 and 12 bottle boxes. To save you extra fees, we'll always consolidate your order to fit the most number of bottles per box; for instance, if you were to place an order for nine different bottles of wine, we would pack them in a single box. For savings on our wines that are $8.25 and below per bottle we will sell and ship in case lots only.
States we ship to
At this time due to direct shipping laws and regulations, Wine Sync can only accept online or telephone orders for shipments destined to actual street addresses (no P.O. Boxes, no APO/FPO addresses) in the following states:
AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI,(extra cost), ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, MN, MO, NE, NM, NH, NV, NY, NC, ND, OR, OK, RI, OH, SC, SD, TX, VA, VE, WA, WI , WY
* 6% sales tax will be collected for all orders shipped within Michigan.
* 8% sales tax will be collected for all orders shipped within New Hampshire.
* 7% sales tax will be collected for all orders shipped within North Dakota.
Please note that all products are sold in Michigan, and title passes to the buyer in Michigan. Wine Sync makes no representation as to the legal rights of the buyer to ship or import wines into any other state, and the buyer is solely responsible for shipment. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
When will my order arrive?
At Wine Sync we use UPS almost exclusively for all our shipments. UPS Ground shipments (the least expensive option) normally ship within 1 or 2 business days of receiving your order - it could take longer if your item is not in stock. You should expect your shipment to arrive within 5 to 10 business days, not including holidays or weekends. Actual shipping time via UPS Ground service is not guaranteed. (Please see how the weather can cause shipping delays). Orders received after 2:00 pm EST will be processed the following business day.
If you need your wine to arrive by a certain date, please let us know (There is an area for notes in the checkout screen).
Please note that if you select overnight or any expedited shipping we will do our best to ship the same day or next day, but we might not have your wine in stock at the time of order.
How the weather can cause shipping delays.
We take the quality of our wine very seriously. Occasionally, due to our commitment to your satisfaction and the perishable nature of wine, please be aware that shipments may be delayed at our discretion during extreme weather conditions (such as heat waves or extreme cold weather).
Fastest service in extreme weather.
If you need your wine to arrive by a certain date, please let us know. Wine Sync will not be responsible for weather damage (extreme heat or cold) if you elect to have us ship during extreme weather. It is the customer’s responsibility to select the most expedited delivery method during summer and winter months.
Residential address delivery.
Wine Sync encourages you whenever possible to use a commercial business address to ensure the fastest possible delivery time, and to minimize missed delivery attempts.

Receiving the shipment.
Please remember if no one of legal age (21) is available to receive the package, one follow-up attempt will be made to deliver.
Should subsequent delivery attempts be unsuccessful and you do not pick up the shipment at the UPS depot within a specified time, your order will be returned to our shipping department. We will in turn issue you a full refund to your credit card (minus the outbound and return UPS shipping charges).
UPS charges a $6 fee to correct or change an address and a $10 fee for a delivery intercept in addition to its regular shipping fees. If you opt to change your address or have your delivery intercepted, we will charge the additional fee to your credit card. Delivery intercepts may only be implemented by Wine Sync online store.
Once again by law, you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine, and an adult's signature (also 21 years or older) is required for all deliveries of wine. Upon delivery of your purchase, UPS will require the person signing for the shipment to provide bona fide picture identification proving the signer's identity and legal age. By law, UPS is not allowed to delivery wine to any person who is intoxicated, or appears to be intoxicated
.
Damaged delivery procedures.
A damaged shipment will usually be obvious to you and the driver. Telltale signs would include a severely torn or gouged shipping box, wine stains, moisture on the bottom of the box, etc. Should you notice any such problem upon delivery, please point it out to the driver, who will be able to return the product to us or process a claim if necessary. (You may wish to open the box with the driver present; because of the special packaging we use, it's likely that the actual bottles may be fine even if the box looks damaged.)
If you notice physical damage to the wine bottles after the driver has left, please contact our Customer Service department immediately by email at customerservice@winesync or call 586-469-WINE (9463). In all cases, please do not return a product to us without contacting our Customer Service department first.
How to track the shipping.
Once your order has been processed, we will send your shipment's tracking information to you via email. Once you have that number, it's easy to track your shipment directly from the Winebuys.com website: Simply click "my orders" at the very top of each page, or just click here.
